DODMO ON Jimdo - WHAT THE ....!!!

I pay for a pro hosting package where I already have my own web site DODMO.NET, so why the heck have I set up this  Jimdo site?

Well I'm always keen to try out something new so, when I read Huw Collingbourne's article about Jimdo on Bitwise, I couldn't resist trying Jimdo out... and its nice - very nice!

I've never been comfortable with the blog format web sites provided by blogger.com  and the like. Primarily because I prefer to group my content by topic rather than by the date it was written.  Jimdo, as you can see,  lets you create a "real" website (with a proper navigation menu and everything!!) but the simplicity of the content management and design interface makes it a joy to work with. The fact that it is "live" with no separate admin back end is just the icing on the cake.

So I'm going to keep this site for my personal ramblings and such like.
